The Tennessee Department of Revenue is reminding members of the 22 professional groups required to file and pay the annual Professional Privilege Tax by the June 1 deadline. The department's simple online tax filing and payment options on www.TN.gov/revenue allow filers to submit their personal information, choose their profession, make payments and receive confirmation within minutes. "The alternative to electronic filing on the department's website is well-designed and modified with taxpayers in mind," said Reagan Farr, commissioner of the Department of Revenue.
